Sault Garden Club Minutes of April 16, 2007

President Kate Marshall called the meeting to order at 7:20 PM.

Minutes of the March meeting were read and approved. The treasurer's report was not available.

Bev Youngs gave information about the Great Gardener Getaway to be held in Mackinac City in April 28. Members wishing to car pool will meet at 7:15 AM in the Three Mile Road commuter parking lot.

The annual plant exchange will take place at 10 AM on Saturday, may 19, at the St. James parking lot. In case of rain, we will meet at the Project Playground pavilion.

A Spring garden tour will take place on Monday, May 21. Members will meet at 6:30 PM in the church parking lot to car pool. A short business meeting and refreshments will follow at the church.

Dorothy Dansdill requested volunteers to provide displays for the St. James Spring Tea to be held May 5 from 1 to 3:30 Pm.

Discussion of the Bayliss Library showcase included brainstorming for a display from May 8 to 25.

The business meeting adjourned at 8:15 PM, and members spent time creating pussy willow Spring crafts.

Refreshments were provided by Kristen McDonald, Emily Grenfell, and Diane McDonald.

Raffle items were provided by Ruth Molino, Dorothy Rich, Gayle Johnson, and Donna Munsell.
